We're in Barney

With the beginning of the Superweek season being marked with the epic Great City of Milwaukee Lake Front course, we knew it was going to be a scorcher. It doesn't help when the planning committee doesn't pull through and forgets the bare necessities. After a couple of hurdles, we arrived and got our kicksticks warmed up. The climb was a fabulous beast with 2 switchbacks, and the descent was a ripper through the woods turning right onto Lake Front Drive. With the sound of the gun we were off and making history.

We finished up with our go to guru in 4th and a few pairs of weary legs. There were a few minor mishaps that could have turned into major mishaps. Thankfully, the saddle that flew off the rider in front of me missed my front wheel and hit my frame. I stayed up, and he stood for the remainder of the race. It was magical.
